Credibility of Websites
It is always good to evaluate the sources that you're taking information from when working on a research paper. You should Keep in mind not all websites are credible. For example, Scholarly journals are more reliable than popular journals. To identify your sources, you need to think critically before accepting an information. Below you'll find some important point that might help you in your research paper. I think that they are very specific on how to evaluate a website:
-Accuracy(precise)
-Authority(Name)
-Objectivity(Base on fact)
-Currency(How recent)
-Coverage(The Subject)
-Audience(Who reads this?)

ReplyDeletesometime, when doing a research paper such as research on "Education and technolog", you probalby just go and assess any websites, but you don't know what false information you might find from these sources. for exmple,you have a research to do on education and technology and you dicide to use "Youtube.com". The information you find there might be untrue because anyone can go and put anything on youtube. In order to find good information for your research paper, you need to assess a reliable website such like "edu" because the information you get there is usually structured and reviewed by an expert.
whenever you are doing a research paper it is always good to know where the informations are coming from.All websites are not reliable for a good research paper,you must know is the article is structured, reviewed, and evaluated by experts in the field or its is written by a specialist or a profesional who is in the field is the name of the authors are crudential provided.Like for example a scholarly journal is more reliable than a popular ones.you should think critically before getting any information from some of the webs in other not to get false information for your paper.
