Some reminders
- No class tomorrow- we had a make-up session on Tuesday. We will meet next Tuesday in Rm 224.
- Continue working on your 2nd draft of the 2nd essay. Please email me if you want to meet with me tomorrow. You need to bring hard copies of both drafts to class on Tuesday (November 3rd)
- Please keep copies of all your work in a folder.

"The commencement of speech you'll never hear." In this Essay Neusner argues that college doesn't prepare you to deal with life reality, especially the workplace reality. To support his assertion, he says:"When you did not keep your appointments, we made new ones. When your work came in beyond the deadline, we pretended not to care." When he sates:Most of you,after all, can look back on honor grades for most of what you have done." This argument doesn't support the central one.
